Misericordia Siblings, Families and Artist In All Supporters,
First and foremost, we hope this message finds you and your loved ones safe and healthy. We wanted to take a moment to thank you for your continued support and devotion to Misericordia Heart of Mercy. Throughout the years, you have been there for us in supporting our mission. Because of you, we are able to continue to provide the highest quality of residential care to our 600 children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Our most resident-centered event, The Artist in All, was scheduled for TODAY, May 20, 2020. However, due to the shelter-in-place regulations during this health crisis, The Artist in All will not be able to take place as it has in the past. The health and safety of our residents, staff, volunteers and guests are our number one concern and priority.
We are deeply saddened that we cannot be together in the Modern Wing of The Art Institute celebrating our wonderfully talented artists. They truly deserve all of the accolades from this exceptional event. However, the show must go on!
The Artist in All – Changing Colors will be a virtual event held on September 29, 2020.
The Art Therapy, Resource and Developmental Training programs have facilitated the creation of numerous beautiful paintings, hand-painted furniture and glass pieces, ceramics, jewelry and photography at Misericordia. All of the proceeds from this incredible event will go directly into our work opportunity program. We would not be able to continue these wonderful, life-affirming programs without your support.
We would like to acknowledge our Presenting Sponsor, the MAZZA FOUNDATION, and the many other generous sponsors who have already made this commitment for 2020.
Thank you for your continuous belief in our mission:
