Together for Choice Postpones its October Conference

Dear Members:

Every two years, Together for Choice hosts a conference that attracts speakers and attendees from across the country to exchange ideas on the best practices in serving men and women with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Our conference this year was scheduled for October 14 to 16 in Las Vegas.  Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, TFC has decided to postpone the conference.  We will inform our members when a new date for the conference has been set.

In the meantime, TFC will continue to advocate for the right of individuals and their families to choose among the broadest array of residential, vocational and recreational services.  All quality options must remain available and fully funded.  Individuals and their families, not the government or advocacy groups, must be able to choose the service type that best meets their needs and preferences.

During the pandemic, TFC will continue to host calls and virtual meetings with its members to exchange information, ideas and concerns.  Please continue to follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

These are very challenging times for everyone, but especially for individuals with developmental disabilities, their families, and the dedicated providers who serve them.  TFC fervently hopes that every member of our community stays healthy and we will come together in person when this is over.
